NOTE: Completing the Intake Form is a legal requirement. We cannot provide consultation or treatment without it. If you are unable to complete it electronically prior to your appointment, please arrive 10 minutes early so you can complete it on-site before your scheduled time.

Step Two - Check-in & Consultation

PRE-CONSULTATION: Prior to your appointment, you should receive an email confirming your complimentary consultation along with a link to complete the Required Patient Intake Form. If not please, CONTACT US.

CHECK-IN: Upon arrival, please check in at our front desk with one of our Patient Coordinators. You’ll have an opportunity to hang up your belongings or keep them with you, and relax in our sun-drenched reception area, where you can enjoy a cup of our signature herbal tea or water. Feel free to use the restrooms if needed. Dr. Manges will be notified of your arrival and will personally greet you at your scheduled time to escort you to a treatment room. If requested, we can also check your insurance benefits during your consultation so you will have a clear understanding of your overage by the end of the appointment. INSURANCE QUESTIONS?

CONSULTATION: Your 15-minute consultation will be a private opportunity to review your intake form and discuss your health goals. During this time we will ask you about your primary medical concerns, and review your health history— this may include assessments like checking your pulse, observing your tongue, and palpating specific channels and points. We encourage you to ask questions.  ACUPUNCTURE QUESTIONS?

PERSONALIZED TREATMENT PLAN: After your consultation, Kirsten will present you with your personalized treatment plan, including details on your insurance coverage. If you are satisfied with the plan and have the time, you may begin your treatment that same day. Alternatively, you can work with one of our Patient Coordinators to schedule your first session for a future date. BOOK NOW.

Step Three - Treatment

YOUR FIRST TREATMENT: Your first treatment will begin immediately after your initial consultation or at a later scheduled time, based on your preference.

PAYMENT: Upon acceptance of your treatment plan we will charge you for your plan and commence treatment. We accept all major credit cards, FSA/HSA cards, checks, and cash.

TREATMENT ROOMS: Whether starting right away or at a future appointment, you’ll enjoy the serene atmosphere of our private, light-filled treatment rooms, complete with relaxing music and imported ergonomic tables. VIEW PHOTOS & VIDEOS OF CLINIC

TREATMENT DURATION: Each treatment session typically lasts about 40 minutes.

BEGINNING: Based on your treatment protocol, your session may start with Acupuncture or include a variety of adjunct therapies, such as Foot Soak Therapy, ATP Resonance, Low-Level Light Therapy, Cupping, Gua Sha, Moxabustion, Herbal Medicine, or a combination of these modalities.

ACUPUNCTURE: Acupuncture needles are usually placed on your arms and legs below the elbows and knees but may also be applied to other areas such as the ears, head, back, or abdomen. All needles are sterile, non-toxic, and single-use.

Although the sensation of needle placement is often painless, some points may cause mild discomfort, such as a pinching, dull ache, or a gentle tingling sensation similar to mild electricity. We strive to ensure your comfort, but please let us know immediately if you experience any discomfort so we can make adjustments.

After the needles are applied, most patients enter a deep state of relaxation, with many even drifting off to sleep.

COMPLETING YOUR TREATMENT: We monitor your treatment time closely, and when the session is complete, we will quietly remove the needles, giving you a few moments to rest and gather yourself. If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to let us know. CONTACT US

Step Four - Post-Treatment

POST TREATMENT: Take your time getting up after your session. You may feel a range of sensations—from energized and rejuvenated to calm, relaxed, or even a bit foggy or tired. All of these responses are completely normal. Feel free to sit in our sunlit reception area, enjoy another cup of tea or water, and use the restrooms as needed.

SCHEDULING: You can schedule your follow-up appointments at this time if desired.

AFTER TREATMENT: If possible, we recommend taking it easy for the rest of the day and avoiding any strenuous exercise or alcoholic beverages. You may feel perfectly normal or notice some mild physical or emotional responses following your treatment. We are always here for you if you have any questions or concerns. Please don’t hesitate to CONTACT US

Step Five - Follow-up Visits

FOLLOW-UP APPOINTMENTS: Your follow-up appointments will follow a similar flow to your first visit. We’ll check in on how you’re feeling, make any necessary adjustments to your treatment plan, and review the session’s objectives before starting.

SCHEDULING, CANCELATIONS, RE-SCHEDULING & PAYMENT: We will work with you via phone, email, and our online booking portal for your ongoing treatment plans. Please feel free to check out our PRICING, PAYMENT & CANCELATION POLICY for more details.
